Hybrid and reworked versions of the Radeon RX 6800 XT are on the horizon!

Following the unveiling of the RX 6000 series graphics cards by AMD CEO Lisa Su, partner manufacturers are now announcing the products that will feature them online. These partners will release their products on November 18th, the same day the Radeon RX 6800 and RX 6800 XT cards will go on sale.

AMD's partner manufacturers will be ready on November 18th to launch their revamped Radeon RX 6800 and 6800 XT graphics cards . Some models are already visible online and customers can preview them.

Asus products based on the RX 6800 XT

Asus presents a wide range of cards based on the RX 6800 XT. One of these cards is the ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6800 XT . This card features a hybrid cooling system , combining air and liquid cooling. The ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6800 XT comes with a 240 mm radiator paired with two 120 mm fans and 600 mm of cooling tubing. Additional fans can be added to the system via the two FanConnect II connectors. The card features RGB lighting, controllable using the Aura Sync software. The liquid cooling system cools the GPU and GDDR6 memory, while the air cooling system handles the power supply .

Liquid cooling is more efficient than conventional air cooling. Liquids dissipate heat more effectively than air, allowing for better overclocking because the GPU doesn't overheat and the transistors can switch faster. The ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6800 XT is therefore ideal for overclocking enthusiasts.

Asus also presents other graphics cards such as the ASUS TUF RX 6800 and 6800 XT as well as the ROG Strix RX 6800. The latter features a classic heatsink cooling system with 3 axial fans.

MSI presents its Gaming X Trio

MSI, for its part, announced the MSI RX 6800 XT Gaming X Trio . This project appears to be the equivalent of the RTX 3080 Gaming X Trio. This card is equipped with a heatsink system occupying three slots. Other models are also in development, such as the MECH and EVOKE , among others.

Pricing for these products is not yet available, but it should be soon, as these cards are scheduled to go on sale starting November 18th. Nvidia, for its part, has announced the opening of pre-orders for its latest generation cards. This end of the year is shaping up to be a promising one for graphics card manufacturers and computer manufacturers in general.
