This processor supports PCIe 3.0 with 16 lanes . PCIe 4.0 technology is only supported with Rocket Lake processors. This processor does not include a graphics processor. The F version does not have one. It should be noted that the Intel Core i5-10400 processor is equipped with the Intel UHD Graphics 630 iGPU. You must therefore add a standalone graphics card to your PC. This processor is quite fast, as it roughly matches the performance of a Core i7-8700K at the gaming level. Its performance is around 30% more compared to the previous generation of CPU.

Advanced Features of the Intel Core i5-10400F Processor

The Core i5-10400F processor was cast with a 14-nanometer . It connects to the motherboard via the FCLGA1200 socket. Therefore, you need a 400 series chipset (H470, H410, B460 or Z490). The maximum supported case temperature is 72°C (TCase). The core, for its part, is capable of operating at less than 100°C. For comparison, the Atom x7-E3950 processor core can withstand a maximum temperature of 110°C. DDR4-2666 memory with a maximum capacity of 128 MB on 2 channels over a bandwidth of 41.6 Gbps. For comparison, the Xeon E5-2670 v3 processor can manage a memory with a maximum capacity of 786 GB. The Intel Core i5-10400F CPU has 3 memory caches: the L1 cache is 64 KB per core, the L2 cache is of 256 KB per core and the L3 cache totals 12 MB on its 6 cores. As for extended instructions, we have Intel® SSE4.1, Intel® SSE4.2, Intel® AVX2.
