Please note, configuration steps are necessary to know how to connect 2 screens to a laptop correctly. But if you want 3 screens! Your computer must be at least powerful for multi-screens. Have a coffee, a tea, sit down for 10 minutes and take the time to read my advice for screen configuration.

And yes, to allow you total immersion in front of your screens, and make your games more real than life, your laptop will need to be “tuned” in order to connect 3 screens to your computer. It is not enough to plug them in, you must ensure that:
- the graphics card allows you to extend the display
- if possible, have screens of the same size and/or same resolution
- own a very powerful laptop PC for a very high quality display
- have the connectors that allow you to connect 2 to 3 screens: HDMI, VGA, Thumderbolt, USB-C, DisplayPort.

Steps to connect 3 screens to your laptop
Make sure you have all the accessories to connect your two screens:
- PC: HDMI or HDMI and VGA or DVI cables.
- Mac: Thumderbolt 3 to HMI and VGA adapter cable, DisplayPort to VGA or HDMI, USB-C to HDMI or VGA.

Take the time to find all the connectors on your monitors and your laptop, plug in the right cables, and plug in the power outlets for each component. It's done ? Now it's time to your windows display to configure the screens.
How do I configure my laptop to connect 3 screens?
Right-click on your desktop and in the menu that appears select “Display Settings”. The connected screens should appear. If this is not the case, click on “detect”.
Once the monitors are detected, scroll down the page to get to “multiple displays”. Here, several options are possible: “duplicate these displays” allows you to display the main screen on all your screens. The “extend display” option allows you to extend the work surface and thus have different displays on each screen.
