Why Windows 11 could boost your PC's performance?

In less than a month, Microsoft will officially roll out its new operating system. This is Windows 11, which will benefit from very interesting new features for your computer. The new system will in fact be able to improve the performance of your machine and reduce disk usage . Enough wasting time, let’s get to the heart of the matter!

Windows 11: A new adventure that starts with Microsoft

It would simply be unpleasant to summarize Microsoft's new operating system as an aesthetic change. Indeed, apart from the fact that there is a change in design compared to previous versions, the new system comes with a host of new features. These will mark the start of a new adventure for Microsoft.

Recent information reveals that the firm will be making some important changes to boost the performance of your PC.

In a presentation video, Youtuber Ben Anonymous carried out a series of tests on a computer. The latter was equipped with an Intel Core i7-10875H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 graphics card. Results? We see that with Windows 11, the computer turned on in 13 seconds while with windows 10, it takes 16 seconds to turn on.

It is therefore clear and concise that Windows 11, Microsoft's new operating system, is perfectly more optimized than its predecessor.

Optimization of the operating system: origin of the effectiveness of Windows 11?

During an interview, Steve Dispensa provided several information on the optimizations of the new operating system.

“Yes, our developers have worked a lot on memory management to improve the performance of applications running in the foreground. And this is one of the first things that allows us to obtain more resources in terms of execution speed. So, even when your PC's processor has a very heavy load, launching new applications is ultra fast. “

It is therefore certain that Windows 11 optimizations prioritize more the applications and processes that need them. They also speed up waking up (turning on) after a long standby period while significantly reducing the use of your computer's disk.

If you want to know more and know all the details, you can watch the Microsoft Mechanics explanatory video here:

According to Steve Dispensa, the performance optimization is due to a 32% reduction in memory usage and a 37% reduction in CPU usage.

Microsoft calls it “sleep,” and it may be a beacon for those who will be running Windows 11 on very low-spec hardware.

Ultra-fast updating of your machine with the new operating system

No one wants to update their computer especially using Windows Update. Windows Update system has a bad reputation for starting the update at the wrong time. With the numerous complaints received, Microsoft has increased its efforts to improve and optimize updates with Windows Update.

Windows 11 with its features, will now cause Windows Update to download only the necessary update data without interrupting the use of your machine .

This principle of updating has already been seen with modern systems such as: iOS and Android. Failing to download the full system update, modern systems emit a difference between what is already up to date and what requires an update.

Windows updates are reduced by almost 40%, which speeds up their download and installation . Additionally, Microsoft claims that these optimizations will improve the battery life of computers running Windows 11.

Also, if for some reason you still prefer an older, reliable installation of Windows 10 on your machine, no problem. Even if you don't update your machine when Windows 11 is released, your current Windows 10 operating system will not stop working.

Please note, however, that Microsoft will officially deploy Windows 11 on October 5 to avoid major stability and performance problems on certain devices.
