The PS5 is now sold out; in fact, during the week following its release, nearly 10 million consoles were sold. This figure is a record when compared to the PS4, which took almost a month to sell the same number of units.

According to Sony, the stock shortage is likely to continue, as a new order is not expected until 2022 or even 2023. This shortage is widespread, and even Switzerland is affected.

Faced with this situation, Playstation fans have two choices: either patiently wait for a new shipment of PS5s in 2022 or 2023, or buy PS5 stock sold by individuals or stores.

The first way to one day have the chance to hold a PS5 in your hands is to pre-order. By doing so, you ensure you don't miss the console's release! However, to take advantage of this service, you'll need to visit a specialized store.

Furthermore, install the apps for these stores on your smartphone to ensure you have access to the stock alerts wherever you are.
