This month of October will be marked by two AMD . On October 8, the company will unveil Ryzen desktop processors based on the Zen 3 architecture, which can now be defined as the 5000 series, while on October 28 it will be the turn of Radeon RX 6000 based on the RDNA 2 architecture. The announcement will apparently not correspond to immediate availability and according to Yuri Bubliy, creator of ClockTuner for Ryzen, it will take around two weeks to see the products on shelves.
The versions that will be released
processors could hit the market on October 20, with the first wave of offerings expected to include the Ryzen 9 5900X (12 cores) and Ryzen 7 5800X (8 cores), Ryzen 9 5950X (16 cores) and the Ryzen 5 5600X (6 cores). According to Bubliy, the date has been set for some time and has not been postponed at the moment.
The developer and AMD enthusiast also claims that Radeon RX 6000 cards will arrive around November 15, overlapping with the new Xbox and PS5, also with custom RDNA 2 GPUs. Which means we'll get the new GPUs soon after the October 28 announcement.
Recently on Twitter, AMD's Chief Gaming Solutions Architect Frank Azor suggested that the availability of the new Radeon GPUs is right on target with demands and that it wouldn't be a launch without supporting gadget as happened for Nvidia's GeForce RTX 3080/3090.
