According to its 80 Plus Bronze certification, the CX-F RGB power supply series offers an efficiency of up to 88%. While this certification may seem relatively low, Corsair has not neglected quality, as its power supplies feature 105°C Japanese electrolytic capacitors, as well as all the necessary protections.
RGB lighting for maximum quality
To facilitate their installation in any type of case, the power supplies are fully modular with flat cabling (except for the 24-pin ATX cable).
The 120mm fan uses a custom speed curve, specifically calculated for quiet cooling, while maintaining a good operating temperature in the internal circuits.
In addition, when the CX-F RGB series is connected to suitable motherboards and processors, it ensures full compatibility with Microsoft Modern Standby mode, enabling extremely fast wake-up times.
Illuminated by eight powerful and configurable RGB LEDs, the Corsair CX-F allows simple control of the lighting, via an external button located at the rear of the source (visible in the image above), capable of switching through 9 predefined lighting modes and eight different colors.
To ensure even more advanced lighting control, simply connect your CX-F RGB power supply to an iCUE lighting controller, such as the Lighting Node PRO iCUE, or an adapter (included) for 5V ARGB motherboards.
