Radeon RX 6000, AMD presents its performance

On the sidelines of the presentation of the Ryzen 5000, AMD anticipated some information on the Big Navi , the high-end card of the Radeon RX 6000 family: the performances seem to indicate a close battle with the RTX 3080 from Nvidia.

AMD will only unveil the Radeon RX 6000 on October 28, but on the occasion of the presentation of the new Ryzen 5000, the company wanted to anticipate certain information, create a little anticipation and break Nvidia's media hegemony in recent weeks with the GeForce RTX 3000 series of cards.

AMD benchmarks

CEO Lisa Su did not talk about models and technical specifications, but talked about Big Navi (the flagship 4K proposal), showed it with some benchmarks . AMD put Big Navi to the test with three games – Borderlands 3, Gears of War 5 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019) in 4K with maximum detail recording performance of 61, 73 and 88 FPS respectively.

Radeon RX 6000

According to values based on our experience with Nvidia cards, Big Navi behaves exactly like the GeForce RTX 3080 in Borderlands 3. We cannot comment on the rest of the tests because we have not performed direct tests with these games. In any case, it would not be correct to make assumptions. However, it must be considered that the figures were published by AMD, and not by an independent third party.

So we are looking forward to October 28 when AMD will present the Radeon RX 6000 line and delve into all the technical aspects, performance and pricing. This little anticipation certainly caught our attention.
