The release date of the new Ryzen 5000 processors on November 5th is fast approaching! To mark the occasion, MSI is updating its catalog with new motherboards featuring the AMD B550 chipset and AM4 socket, thus launching the MEG Unify . These new models from MSI , the MEG B550 Unify and MEG B550 Unify X, are similar except for the RAM slots: 4 for the MEG B550 Unify and 2 for the MEG B550 Unify X, which is more geared towards extreme overclocking.

Effective for overcloaking
With all these features, it's no wonder that the motherboards achieved very good overclocking results, reaching a frequency of 6155 MHz on the Ryzen 5 3600 XT , not to mention the excellent record of the DDR4 memories , pushed up to 6536 MHz!
PCI-E 4.0 support , not to mention 2.5G LAN and Wi-Fi 6 AX connectivity, the MSI MEG Unify guarantees four slots for M.2 SSDs ; three of them support the Lightning Gen4 , one of the fastest on the market at present with a bandwidth of 64 Gb/s.
Other noteworthy features include CrossFire support, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and USB-C, 6-channel audio, and guaranteed support for DDR4 5100 memory. MSI has not yet provided details on pricing and availability for France; however, in the US, the boards are expected to retail for $279 and $299 , respectively, for the MSI MEG B550 Unify and MEG B550 Unify X.
