2nd GeForce RTX 30 series : RTX 3070, 3080, and 3090. Each model will have an overclocking option ! This GeForce RTX 30 series, with its Ampere-based GPUs, is characterized by increased performance according to NVIDIA benchmarks.
The graphics rendering is very immersive thanks in part to Ray Tracing technology . These graphics cards have been available since September. They are categorized into two main classes: the Gaming Trio type and the Ventus type.
The Gaming Trio type

Six cards are featured in the Gaming category: the RTX 3070 Gaming Trio, the RTX 3080 Gaming Trio, and the RTX 3090 Gaming Trio. Three of these cards have an X version with overclocking capabilities: the RTX 3070 Gaming X Trio, the RTX 3080 Gaming X Trio, and the RTX 3090 Gaming X Trio.
In terms of cooling, thermal pads are located on the back . Additionally, RGB LEDs are available to provide a lighting display based on your preferred colors. These are controlled by the Mystic Light Sync system.
The following connectors are present on these cards: 3 HDMI 1.4a ports, 1 HDMI 2.1 port. They are equipped with 8 pins for the PCI Express slot.
MSI Ventus 3X

Eight cards are available in this class: the RTX Ventus 3X 3070, 3080, 3090, and three with an overclocking option: the RTX Ventus 3X OC 3070, 3080, and 3090. The other two are the RTX 3070 Ventus 2X and the RTX 3070 Ventus 2X OC. These last two feature a dual-fan cooling system. These graphics cards are also PCIe compatible with their 8-pin connectors. Connectivity options include three HDMI 1.4a ports and one HDMI 2.1 port.
The performance of these new series
This new series stands out thanks to exceptional visual fidelity achieved through Ray Tracing and DSLL. Deep Learning-based sampling allows the dedicated AI Tensor Core processors of these GPUs to be utilized, offering gamers high-resolution output.
The image refresh rate is thus 68 fps instead of 30 fps for standard models. These cards have low latency and improved responsiveness. As a result, gamers can stand out from their competitors by quickly identifying targets and objectives.
This series of graphics cards allows you to send livestreams with exceptional image quality , create complex 3D scenes and work on high-resolution 8K video.
Advanced specifications of the RTX 30 series
These cards feature GDDR6X memory, with 8GB, 10GB, and 24GB respectively for the RTX 3070, 3080, and 3090. Regarding CUDA cores, the 3070 has 5888, the 3080 has 8704, and the top-of-the-line 3090 boasts 10496. The boost clock speed is around 1.7 GHz. These graphics cards are compatible with DirectX 12, allowing developers to create video games with highly realistic effects at high resolutions. Advanced features such as variable rate shading and ray tracing are available.
