Gainward is releasing a new set of RTX 30 series cards called Star Red and Star Blue. Its design is reminiscent of the look of Iron Man. It is also noted the existence of an RTX 3080 Star Red Baron with a gold / red color scheme, a Star Blue variant with a blue and red theme and an RTX 3070 Star Red with the same gold and red color scheme as the 3080.
Interestingly, unlike the 3070, only the 3080 Star Red has the term "Barron", which could indicate that this card is specialized or of limited production. For the moment, Gainward has not released an RTX 3090 in these versions.
The cooling system
The coolers are striking enough without the need for RGB lighting. The gold accents on the red for the Star Red give a very “blingy” appearance. The 105 degree angles used are reminiscent of Iron Man suits.

The red and blue trim also has its place, resembling the Iron Patriot from Iron Man 3. These sets are well ventilated. There is plenty of space for air to flow freely through the heatsink.
The RTX 3080s have fairly thick heat sinks as usual, around three PCIe slots due to the high TDP.
The less power-hungry RTX 3070 has a slightly smaller shroud but is still almost as thick as the RTX 3080, making it one of the largest 3070s on the market currently.

The gold versions of the RTX 3070 and 3080 show images of the backplate which features an all-gold aesthetic.
Like other aftermarket cards, the backplate has slots to let air pass through the backplate, improving the cooling system. Gainward has not yet revealed pricing and availability for these versions.
