Fitbit plans to launch a brand new smart bracelet in the market. And what a surprise: the Fitbit charge 5 ! The announcement has not yet been made officially. However, we already know a lot thanks to famous blogger Evan Blass , who published the renderings on his Twitter account!
What does the future Fitbit Charge 5 look like?
The first important element to highlight remains the screen of the Fitbit Charge 5 . Referring to the photos published by Evan Blass, we see that the screen of the connected bracelet will now be in color . Yes, it will no longer be limited to white/black like the old models.
Furthermore, like a normal bracelet, the Fitbit Charge 5 displays the time and date on its screen. In addition, it presents the heart rate of the wearer, a feature common to smart bracelets . Another element appears on the dial of the Fitbit Charge 5 and looks more like a gauge. At the moment we do not have any information on this element, but it could represent the number of steps taken in a day.
Thanks to the leaks, we are now all aware that the bracelet will be offered in three different colors . One model will be in black, another in blue with a silver case and finally, a final model in pink with a gold case. It should also be noted that the design of the smart bracelet is more inspired by the Fitbit Luxe than the Fitbit 4 .

On the renderings of the Fitbit Charge 5, we notice that the new shape of the bracelet closely resembles that of Google's Pixel Watch . Indeed, Google bought Fitbit last January for nearly $2.1 billion. We therefore think that the design of the Fitbit Charge 5 connected bracelet was not chosen at random!
Has the release date of the Fitbit Charge 5 been leaked too?
As the information comes to us directly from blogger Evan Blass, there is nothing official on the subject at the moment. However, an element on the dial could help us get an idea of the bracelet's release date.
Indeed, by taking a closer look at the photo above, you can see a date written on the bracelet: October 23 ! We're not going to hide it: this is a fairly common practice, noticed among manufacturers in recent years!
Remember that the Fitbit Charge 3 was launched in October 2018. The model that followed, i.e. the Fitbit Charge 4 , was launched in March 2020. Therefore, a release date of October 2021 for the Fitbit Charge 5 would be entirely possible.
