Corsair has unveiled MP400, a new series of M.2 PCI Express 3.0 x4 SSDs . The new offerings are initially available in capacities from 1 to 4 TB, but an 8 TB version will also be released.
Corsair has expanded its M.2 NVMe SSD offering with new MP400 solutions available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities. This family of PCI Express 3.0 x4 offerings will include an 8TB model .
What are the features of the Corsair MP400?
The new MP400 SSDs are based on 3D NAND QLC memory equipped with a Phison controller (E16 or E12S depending on the capacity) capable of delivering performance of up to 3480 MB/s in sequential read and up to 3000 MB/s in write.
Regarding performance, using random data (QD32), the company reports up to 710,000 IOPS for writes and up to 610,000 IOPS for reads (only with the higher-capacity models). In terms of write endurance, Corsair has reported values of 200, 400, 800, and 1600 TBW depending on the capacity. These SSDs come with a 5-year warranty .
Like all Corsair SSDs, the MP400 series also comes with Corsair SSD Toolbox software, which allows for secure data erasure and firmware updates with just a few clicks from your desktop. Pricing starts at €135 for the 1TB model and goes up to €1465 for the 8TB version.
