Corsair has unveiled MP400, a new series of M.2 PCI Express 3.0 x4 SSDs . The new proposals are initially available from 1 to 4 TB, but an 8 TB will also arrive.
Corsair has expanded the M.2 NVMe SSD offering with new MP400 solutions offering capacities of 1, 2 and 4 TB. This is a family of PCI Express 3.0 x 4 proposals and in the near future it There will even be an 8 TB model .
What are the features of the Corsair MP400
The new MP400 SSDs are based on a NAND QLC 3D memory with a Phison controller (E16 or E12S depending on the capacity) capable of offering performance up to 3480 MB / s in sequential reading and up to 3000 MB / s in writing.
Regarding performance, with random data (QD32), the company indicates up to 710,000 IOPS in writing and up to 610,000 IOPS in reading (only with models of greater capacity). In terms of writing resistance, Corsair reported values of 200, 400, 800 and 1600 TBW as a function of capacity. These SSDs are under 5 years warranty .
Like all SSD Corsair, MP400 proposals are also accompanied by the Corsair SSD Toolbox software which allows secure data deletions and firmware updates in a few clicks from the office. As for the price, it starts from 135 euros for the 1 TB model to arrive at 1465 euros for the 8 TB solution.
