Corsair has unveiled MP400, a new series of M.2 PCI Express 3.0 x4 SSDs . The new proposals are initially available from 1 to 4 TB, but an 8 TB will also arrive.
Corsair has expanded the M.2 NVMe SSD offering with new MP400 solutions offering capacities of 1, 2 and 4 TB. This is a family of PCI Express 3.0 x 4 proposals and in the near future it There will even be an 8 TB model .
What are the features of the Corsair MP400
The new MP400 SSDs are based on 3D NAND QLC memory equipped with a Phison controller (E16 or E12S depending on capacity) capable of offering performance up to 3480 MB/s in sequential reading and up to 3000 MB/s in writing.
As for performance, with random data (QD32) the company reports up to 710,000 write IOPS and up to 610,000 read IOPS (only with higher capacity models). In terms of write resistance, Corsair reported values of 200, 400, 800 and 1600 TBW depending on capacity. These SSDs are under 5 year warranty .
Like all Corsair SSDs, the MP400 offerings also come with Corsair SSD Toolbox software that allows secure data deletions and firmware updates with just a few clicks from the desktop. As for the price, it starts from 135 euros for the 1 TB model to arrive at 1465 euros for the 8 TB solution.
