Spotify music streaming is finally coming to the Apple Watch without needing a paired iPhone
Music on your own!
It's now possible to stream music on your Apple Watch via your cellular network or Wi-Fi, even if it's not paired with your iPhone. This feature wasn't available before, and it was quite inconvenient if you didn't have your smartphone nearby. Spotify has now begun supporting this functionality. It allows you to view and listen to various types of content on your Apple Watch, independently of your iPhone. This streaming app has been available on the Apple Watch for years, but previously it required the watch to be paired with an iPhone to function.
This feature has been eagerly awaited for quite some time, as certain activities were previously impossible without having an iPhone nearby. Users can now, for example, listen to music while working out, jogging, and so on. You can now stream music from your Apple Watch to your Bluetooth headphones with complete freedom.

When will this be activated?
The update rollout has already begun. Spotify has just confirmed this. However, it could take a few days for it to arrive on your smartwatch. As announced on TechCrunch, the Swedish company is deploying solutions to allow users to listen to Spotify regardless of the device or platform they use. Now it's Apple Watch's turn to benefit from this feature after successful testing. The Spotify app is free and available on the Apple Store . It can be installed directly from the Apple Watch. However, you need at least an Apple Watch Series 3 with Apple watchOS version 6.0 or later . An internet connection is also required, either via 4G LTE or Wi-Fi.

The essentials to know about Spotify
Spotify currently has over 320 million users . The application allows users to stream music. This platform features over 35 million tracks . In free mode, there are ads between tracks, but in premium mode, there are no ads. It is also possible to listen to music offline with premium mode. This involves a monthly subscription fee. This application can be used or installed on various platforms, including iPhones, Android devices, devices running windows , macOS, iOS, Linux, PlayStation 3 and later, Xbox, and more. Since 2013, it has also been possible to listen to Spotify music through various web browsers using the Spotify web player .
