The Magic keyboard with Touch ID: an essential tool in the digital age
Now the Magic Keyboard can be used as a separate accessory. We thus find two types of keyboard at Apple: with or without a numeric keypad .
The changes made to the new keyboard will allow you to benefit from the full display of the emoji library thanks to the language options. Also, the keyboard has a new key which provides direct access to the Spotlight functionality .
The latter will allow you to search for one or more files throughout the Mac with just one click. In addition, it is now possible to perform a voice search by only clicking on a dedicated button for voice dictation.
In addition to all this, Apple has integrated a key into the new Magic Keyboard that can allow you to activate Do Not Disturb mode. Finally, you will find on high-end models a Touch ID fingerprint sensor
How much does this new tool from Apple cost and where to get it?
Previously, Apple's Magic Keyboard was exclusively available with the iMac. It was even originally possible to have it as an option when purchasing an M1. However, the lead designer ultimately decided to make the tool available to the public.
Please note that the Magic Keyboard with Touch ID can only be used with specific Macs. Indeed, the latter must necessarily be equipped with an Apple Silicon SoC. Also, you will definitely need version 11.3 of MacOS .

What is the difference between Magic Trackpad and Magic Mouse?
Ultimately, Apple also decided to introduce its new touchpads and practical mice to its customers. Compared to the Magic keyboard, we do not notice a very big difference here between the Magic trackpad and the new mouse.
In fact, the brand has only added a small touch to the touchpad. This is noticeable by some additional colors already present on the latest Magic Mouse. However, please note that neither the Magic Trackpad nor the Magic Mouse are sold individually.
The price of the new Magic Mouse is 85 euros and that of the new Magic Trackpad is 135 euros. The only downside is that these accessories are exclusively delivered in their white version, which makes all their novelty and originality disappear.
If you want to have a different color than the one you are generally offered, you must buy a new iMac. Note that the new touchpad has more curved and rounded corners than the old one.
