RX 570 is 62 FPS, RX 580 is 68 FPS, GTX 1660 is 82 FPS, RTX 2060 is 106 FPS, RX 5600 XT is 109 FPS, RX 2070 is 119 FPS, RTX 2080 is 141 FPS , the RTX 2080 Super at 147 FPS and the RTX 2080 Ti at 163 FPS. RTX 2060 and higher cards allow a frame rate above 100 FPS at 1080p. GTX 1650 card is less than 60 FPS. Or at 59 FPS during our tests.
At 1440p resolution, the following cards provide a frame rate below 60 FPS: the GTX 1650 at 39 FPS, the RX 570 at 46 FPS, the RX 580 at 51 FPS, the GTX 1660 at 59 FPS. From the RTX 2060 card, the 60 FPS bar is largely exceeded: the RTX 2060 at 80 FPS, the RX 5600 at 115 FPS, the RTX 2080 Ti at 129 FPS.
In 2160p resolution, the following cards announce high performance, with a frame rate above 60 FPS: the RTX 2080 at 66 FPS, the RTX 2080 Super at 71 FPS, the RTX 2080 Ti at 80 FPS. This game allows players to see death as not an end in itself but a continuity of earthly life. The game is therefore played in this futuristic and imaginary universe.
Death Stranding is an event that will occur in the near future and has destroyed the barrier between the world of the living and the afterlife. Lost souls and the souls of the dead return to earth in the form of pouring rain and try to attack humans. Those caught die directly, annihilating the surrounding environment with a sort of shock wave.
Survivors end up in underground bunkers or shelters. Some escape annihilation and have a near-death experience. Others are related to souls returning to Earth and are endowed with different powers such as teleportation.
This game was developed by Kojima Productions. The development tweaking took quite a long time. 3 years passed between the announcement of the game to the general public and its launch. Nearly a hundred employees from Kojima Productions were reinforced by 70 people from Guerrilla Games to complete the title of a technical feat. This game has won 3 Game awards , 2 Dice Awards and won the Best Technical Achievement award at the BAFTA Game 2020 .
